RC 310s don't seem to fit right....

I just got my RC 310's and they don't fit the same as the stock injectors in my B16A3. They seem too big in diameter.

When I remove the intake manifold rubber rings from the intake manifold, they are too loose. With the rubber rings on, it only fits the first 1/4 inch of the injector and won't go any further. Tightening down the fuel rail bolts makes the rail snug on the injectors but then the rail doesn't touch the fiberglass separators on the mounting bolts.

Does anyone have close-up pictures of the 310's...please post or email me.

Make sure the OE o-rings and spacers (if so equipped) have been removed from the manifold. Then use the RC injectors with the o-rings they included. You should then be able to tighten down the rail without applying too much torque. The o-rings do get a bit squished.

I cut my rubber seals in half and then used them. Nice snug fit now

Does the fuel rail get tightened all the way down to the fiberglass spacers on the three mounting bolts? I tried and they sit about a 1/2" inch away still.

If this is the way they are supposed to fit, then I am really dissappointed.

1/2" is *way* off. Call RC and get them to help you straighten it out.

Glenn, did you cut the oe rubber seals cause if not you will never get the rail to fit right. Just take a razor and be careful not to cut yourself. My rail sits perfectly on the spacers and the rubber seal is snug.

I'll do that..but I'm still disappointed that they don't bolt on. Did everyone have to do this to get them to fit right?
